Here it is... the Powell Dragons in 64mm.
Rumour has it, once you try these you'll never ride another street wheel again. Is it true? There's only one way to find out. And it's not Googling it.
The Dragon Formula is the result of a decade of George Powell's experiments with urethane to offer the holy grail: a soft wheel that slides like a hard wheel.
The Dragons are 93A in durometer, and will make pushing and cruising round town more comfy than any other wheel of this duro or harder out there. They open up the crustiest of spots, and unlike super soft longboard wheels will not grab the coping or the rail as you grind - they slide like the 101A wheels you're used to riding. It's hard to believe, until you try them.
If you've got a cruiser and you want a wheel that works for the skate park and around town... there was never truly a great option. There is now, and this is it.
This is the 64mm version in the G Bones shape and that extra size means they have a bit more weight and presence than the smaller versions - really epic on a cruiser or a pumptrack setup where tricks are not the main focus, but you're not opposed to throwing a few in now and then.
Has George Powell just killed the skateboard wheel market with these? You tell me.
