If you want to tweak and adjust the way your truck turns, apart from changing bushings you can also switch out your washers. Doing this can make a massive difference to how much your truck turns, leans, returns to centre - so doing this is one of the best value ways of modifying your trucks.
Cup washers "cup" your bushings, which restricts the turn, lean and dive, and increases return to center ("rebound"), making your trucks feel more "bouncy," pumpy and carvy. Running cup washers top and bottom does allow you to run a slightly softer bushing then you might without fear of wheelbite, which is always good!
We have two sizes available:
Cone Cup Washers are 23mm in diameter, which is to fit most Cone shaped bushings. Our cone cup washers are quite "shallow," which means that they don't have a lot of capture compared to some. They're best used on the "roadside" bushing.
Barrel Cup Washers are 29mm in diameter, to fit most Barrel Bushings. They are quite deep and thick compared to a lot of truck washers out there, which gives a very snug fit on the bushing, providing a lot more rebound, and more restriction towards the end of the turn/lean. They make for a great downhill/speed setup when paired with some medium/hard washers, and are a good alternative to a flat washer Barrel/Kingcone setup.
